The following Copilot updates are part of the 2023 release wave 2 for Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform, a six-month rollout of new capabilities scheduled to be released between October 2023 and March 2024.  

Copilot in Dynamics 365 Field Service. Frontline workers can get access to crucial work order details by posing questions to Copilot within Microsoft Teams. They can express their needs using natural language and receive specific information regarding their work orders in Dynamics 365 Field Service, such as status updates, required parts, or instructions to facilitate task completion. Field service workers gain not only viewing capabilities but also the ability to edit their work orders directly within Teams.

Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales. The Copilot features in Dynamics 365 Sales help sellers make data-driven decisions using AI-generated insights and reports. This also saves them time and enhances the efficiency of their day-to-day work. Sellers access their data, customer insights, leads recommendations and sales forecasts just by using natural language. 

Copilot in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights. Sellers can understand customer behaviour, thus reach their target audience easily with Copilot’s extended capabilities. The AI tool generates a customer profile summary including beneficial demographic, transactional, behavioural and analytics data. Based on these insights, Copilots allows you to personalize customer experience, improve retention and boost engagement. 

Microsoft Copilot for Service. Integrate your company’s trusted knowledge with Copilot for Microsoft 365. You can use the power of Copilot in the tools your employees use daily – Teams and Outlook. The AI-generated answers, emails and resources will be personalized in accordance with your customers’ issues in no time, while the service agents’ productivity and work efficiency will be elevated. General availability is targeted for the first quarter of 2024. Pricing will be $50 per user a month. 

Microsoft Copilot for Sales. As an extension of Sales Copilot, Microsoft Copilot for Sales combines the capabilities of Copilot with information from the Microsoft 365 apps such as documents, emails, chats, etc. Copilot for Sales reveals many new features in Word and Teams to help sellers save time, integrate an innovate approach in their daily tasks, attract customers and seal more deals. Copilot will use the prompts given by you to help you prepare for a meeting with a brief in Word, containing customer information, names and titles of meeting participants, tasks to be discussed, highlights from previous meetings or emails. With the meeting recaps in Teams, you will be more than prepared owing to the access to key performance indicators (KPIs), keywords mentioned and more action items.  

*Copilot for Sales will be available in the first quarter of 2024 for $50 per user a month.

As organizations of diverse sizes seek efficient assistance, Copilot for Dynamics 365 stands out as the premier choice. Following the tremendous success of Copilot, in January 2024 Microsoft revealed their latest initiatives to enhance existing features and unlock a new level of productivity for users. The most recent updates regarding the availability of Copilot for Dynamics 365 include: 

  • Copilot for Microsoft 365 is available for small businesses. With Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Business Standards users can purchase up to 299 seats. Contact us for more details about the prices. 

  • Microsoft is removing the 300-seat purchase minimum for commercial plans and giving access to Copilot to Office 365 E3 and E5 customers. 

  • Commercial customers can purchase Copilot through Microsoft partners, as NavTech Group.  

  • Copilot for Microsoft 365 is now eligible for education faculty and staff. 
     

Earlier this month, Microsoft also revealed new features of Copilot that will enrich the spectrum of AI experiences: 

  • Copilot GPTs: Copilot GPTs allows you to customize Microsoft Copilot in accordance with a specific topic. Microsoft is marking the beginning of this new function by providing some Copilot GPTs, already customized on topics such as travel, health, cooking and more. Soon users will be able to make their own Copilot GPTs, using Copilot GPT Builder. 

  • Copilot Mobile App: The Copilot mobile app is already available for iOS and Android. The app allows you to take your personal assistant with you everywhere you go. The Copilot mobile app includes access to GPT-4 and Dall-E 3 for creating images. Download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. 

  • Copilot in the Microsoft 365 Mobile App: Microsoft is also adding Copilot to the Microsoft 365 Mobile App for Android and iOS for individuals with a Microsoft account. Download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. 
     

As part of the AI tool updates, Microsoft has also announced the release of Copilot Pro: a new premium subscription suitable for individuals, who want to explore the more advanced AI capabilities and boost their creativity.
